Life, love, hopes and dreams should be like this... beautiful company, cherry blossoms, tranquility and looking forward.
Sometimes, you wonder what is life about, why am I here, its not an easy question to answer. We are here to make a difference, be part of this world, make a contribution and to be able to experience what we want and hope to achieve - that is how I feel. Whether it is to travel, write, motivate, teach, inspire, awaken others or ourselves, time is something we can't buy back, money cannot buy back time, so appreciate time, experiences, appreciate those you love and care about~
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2013 and nail polish glamour
Just came back from the Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week tonight. It was great to hang out there especially in the Mercedes Star Lounge and admiring the beautiful fashion around, the TOTEs area, beautifully presented Mercedes showcased outside Carriageworks and inside. Maybelline decked out their nice makeup lounge area, it was all glamour and beautiful fashion. Speaking of fashion before I get carried away from what I was posting about...ever wanted your very own Mercedes SLK, why not get some nails with the same colour too? Yes, that's right...Mercedes has their own official range of Mercedes-Benz nail polishes, it comes in a pack of three polishes.
There are three colours in total - Jupiter red, South seas blue metallic and monolith grey metallic, they are produced by LCD and made in Luxembourg. The are an exact match to the car colours.
Category: Casual *One of my online purchases of this exact graphic print tshirt - love the uniqueness of this style for an Autumn/Winter casual weekend look! Easy how to mix + match: 1. Graphics t-shirt (black / white dominant best) 2. Match with a black knitted cap / or beanie 3. Add in a long zipper black jumper with hoodie and draw strings 4. Match with dark faded blue/ black denim jeans 5. Finally pair up with stylish boots, look is complete! Good night xx

Style speaks aloud without a sound, like a picture equals a 1000 words. In a Creating Your Brand workshop I attended, the importance of style/ fashion choice and effort can often be overlooked. The fact that flight attendants are in their uniform, sport teams have their especially branded jerseys and official wear etc. help define how you feel about yourself. Ever felt more cozy and laid back on a Friday - for those who have casual Fridays? The effect of clothing to make someone feel good or conscious - style and fashion does exactly that as Rachel Zoe's quote greatly highlights! xx

Have you seen perfect buns recently whilst walking in the streets? I mean circular, just perfect? Well you can do it too thanks to the doughnut bun! I am about to purchase one to try myself... apparently it is simple - give it a go if you are after an alternate hairstyle
Animal costumes - not that I am for this sort of dress-up its amusing but definitely not classic...however they are taking over dress-up parties, road trips by storm...yes I am talking about full-grown adults or teenagers dressed up as bears, cows, turtles, dinosaurs, pandas, ducks, lions, monkeys, it goes on...did I mention you can also now be Pikachu?
One word : PEPLUM
One piece styling are about to hit stores as an alternative
Tattoo stockings - planets, music notes, smiling cats, winking eyes - this creative method is allowing you to tattoo your legs without using real tattoo, just for some fashion fun, I think its brilliant!

Walk with confidence - don't let people who don't want to see you well bring you down
Things change, people may change, but don't change to suit...be true to yourself, don't lose your uniqueness and who you are, but aim always to be a better you
You got to be IN it to WIN it...if you don't try, you don't know
Attended another friend's upcoming wedding celebrations during the Easter long weekend, beautiful and touching speeches under the tree overlooking Opera House in the Botannical Gardens, Sydney - wishing them blessing for their life together.
Don't let the past haunt you - don't let past hurt consume or control you, your mind or behaviour - acknowledge and learn from the lessons then now move on to create a better, more beautiful future.
NEW CLOTHING(can't wait for H&M to open in Sydney, in the meantime new clothing pieces to add to my collection...) what are your thoughts?
bird scoop neck top
black blazer (goes with almost anything)
houndstooth dress with belt
p.s: don't forget to turn the clock back on hour *yes you can hit snooze* for Sydney siders. Totally excited about attending the Mercedes Fashion Laurette @ Carriage Works next week, I will keep you posted!
'ON SPECIAL' SHOPPING @ PITT STREETMALL Clothing: Yes I was stuck in the change room for quite a while deciding if I should settle on all the items during my impulse purchases... I did a 50/50. I originally contemplated getting a black/dark blue contrast collarless jacket, a red wine striped dress, romantic white peplum top with studs and romantic burgundy peplum top with studes... I couldn't choose between the two colours so I chose both of them as a solution! Any clues? and the best thing is it didn't break my budget... my purchases with a total just $50.
Having a philosophical night, still up writing once again in my blog.
The moment...can be the time you realise that one event leads to another in such a 'coincidental' state, but maybe your mind had triggered that meeting with a long lost friend, that you bump into that person, that second, that very minute you pick up the call, like a channel of thoughts linked invisibly to each other...
The moment you realised... choices are meant to be made... and you should never stay stagnant. Learn, believe, become wiser and more knowledgeable. That life is a like a series of sliding doors...many different factors, actions lead you to meet the people you know today and let you experience what you have experienced.
The moment you realise you must follow your heart, have a great attitude (never give up, never give in), stand up tall (believe in yourself,... to find your happiness... be you...and be free, not a bird in a cage... or not accustomed to just what is expected. Grow. Read. Appreciate. Hope. Smile. Love. bit philosophical today... but I just want to share some of these thoughts...may have ignited primarily been reading 'You'll see it when you believe it" by Dr. Wayne Dwyer, recent events and of course the fantastic movie Sliding Doors.
Heart shape is in! Burberry runways...featured tiled heart shapes
Studs - yes studs on bags, studs on collars, shoulder pads and purses - too much too less you can be the judge ;)
Floral jeans...coloured jeans... stand out be loud and bold with colour
Belts - accentuate your waist and style - it helps to give dimension to a full LBD or work dress

Seasons of Love - loving the sereies (currently airing) follows the love life of a few unusual couples... who meet by chance - there is inspiration from Sliding doors for the third story, the mini dramas are all surprisingly moving or emotionally engaging given the sort space of time for the writer to build the characters and for the audience to connect and agree with the characters within the stories. Engaging. Recommended series - as it explores modern day love life and possibilities. 8.5/10

2012 - was a year full of tears and laughter...there were obstacles to face head on ...but with persistence, determination, passion and undefeated belief and encouragement - hardships can be overcome, fear can be overcome and in the darkness, there is light at the end of the tunnel for those who are willing to hold onto hope and belief with patience, life is full of opportunity and your wishes can be heard. Every cloud has a silver lining and the best things come when least expected.
