The year that was...2012

Top 2012 highlights:
  • Learning bike riding...and exploring new parkland in Olympic Park...beautiful scenery and in touch with the wind and nature...cruising under a blue sky is a peaceful and fulfilling feeling.

  • Music - going to Raymond Lam's Light up my life 2012 Tour concert, Ballet, Cirque De Soleil - OVO - brilliant performance, Korea - The Moon performance at Town Hall, Chillout music - revisited... the most beautiful music for the soul to revitalise and remember memories. Meeting Jessica Mauboy, Miranda Kerr, Luke Jacobs and Ronan Keating. Long hours of Singstar, and playing Just Dance laughing silly with young cousins... yes we were dancing to some funky and cheesy songs along with the good ones.
  • Sketching to create a few new artworks - after finding inspiration again - sketches
  • Cousin getting engaged after eight years - very happy for her and her fiance!
  • Badminton - meeting a wonderful group of badminton friends - who are friendly, encouraging and catching up for dinners, karaoke and house warmings - over a good game of Pictureka!
  • Restaurants - food coma @ Glass Hilton, Long Grain, Red Lantern, Sokyo, Quay @ friend's wedding and Momofuku, ARIA food tasting and event
  • Going to Cockatoo Island for Art Fest - as part of Biennale and seeing new exhibitions of the new MCA
  • Expanding my collections - exclusive Tokidoki collectibles, expanding my Moomin collectibles
  • My birthday celebrations and catching up with good friends over Christmas break - loving the polaroid with my dear friends xx
  • 2012 - was a year full of tears and laughter...there were obstacles to face head on ...but with persistence, determination, passion and undefeated belief and encouragement - hardships can be overcome, fear can be overcome and in the darkness, there is light at the end of the tunnel for those who are willing to hold onto hope and belief with patience, life is full of opportunity and your wishes can be heard. Every cloud has a silver lining and the best things come when least expected.
Hoping you had a fruitful, colourful 2012, and may 2013 be another colourful year...even more enriching, rewarding and kind.

Hope to blog more regularly, stay tuned for some new year resolutions *hint food has to do with it*, what are your new year resolutions for 2013?
